Hawzah News Agency- Senior Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani, in his lecture at the Great Mosque of Qom on Thursday, November 1, pointed out the numerous efforts made by Shia scholars throughout history to preserve the teachings of Islam and the culture of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) and said,” Even today Scholars and clerics consider it their duty to protect this precious heritage, and we aim all our efforts to publish and promote this school. It should be noted that the work is not finished as long as there is poverty, ignorance and injustice in the society.”
He described the Iranian Islamic Revolution as a dynamic and lively movement and added,” The revolution is a dynamic and lively movement and will never become obsolete, because it was founded and formed based on the righteousness of Islam and the culture of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT). The Global Arrogance and the enemies of Islam are plotting to distort the facts and attack the Islamic revolution with huge propaganda and the use of hostile media.”
Referring to the plots of enemies of the Shiites, The grand Ayatollah described human rights as a rotten tool in the hands of Global Arrogance and reminded,” Germany, during the time of Iran-Iraq war, by equipping Saddam with chemical bombs, caused the massacre of many defenseless women and children, who are still injured and suffering, but today they present us as disregarding human rights, whereas they themselves are enemies of humanity.”
The Shia source of emulation further called the leadership and the issue of religious guardianship the pillar of the Islamic revolution and said,” We believe that the guidance of the society is the responsibility of the Prophet, Imam and Vice-Imam; That is, a comprehensive jurisprudence and Ayatollah Khamenei, after the Late Imam Khomeini, managed to preserve this system against the enemies plots for 30 years with tact, rationality, piety and knowledge.”
“After Demise of Late Imam Khomeini, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei preserved and protected this revolution with the same style and procedure as Imam Khomeini; this was not an easy task. Every day, the enemy tried to undermine the revolution with sedition and new plans and various conspiracies, but Ayatollah Khamenei’s management and leadership neutralized all these seditions. Today, the leadership should be supported. This path has many challenges, but our elders endured.”
